Diva/Mensch pair for July 16, 2025

I'm giving you a Bruce Springsteen double header today:

Diva: Best Rock Song, "Radio Nowhere"

Mensch: Best Rock Instrumental Performance, "Once Upon a Time in the West"

Great beat on "Radio Nowhere." It doesn't sound like a Bruce song, it sounds like Pearl Jam or some other grungy business. And he's so demure in the Morricone tribute, he's nearly absent. He's overtaken by the orchestra, it's amazing to me that they classify it as "rock."
