Ah, diversity! In 1975 we had this astonishing duo:

Diva: Best Pop Instrumental Performance, "The Hustle" by Van McCoy

Mensch: Best Pop Vocal Performance/Female, "At Seventeen" by Jan Ian

Both of these are ESSENTIAL. And so different. "The Hustle" makes you want to go out dancing, you want to shake your groove thing. "At Seventeen" makes you want to lay on your bedroom floor and cry. In a good way. I imagine that song made a lot of people feel less alone.
