Diva / Mensch pair for July 28, 2021

This week we have the title characters of the two operas written by the great Austrian composer Alban Berg:

Diva: Lulu

Mensch: Wozzeck

My first *Lulu* was at Glyndebourne in 1995. A film of that production is on YouTube, with French subtitles. Lulu's greatest moment is at 1:25:52. Christine Schaefer was off the hook.
