CDA: Lamont Dozier

My brother Howard alerted me to the death of Lamont Dozier, who died the other day at the age of 81. I didn't know his name but certainly know his work. He was part of the Motown songwriting team known as H-D-H, the Hs being brothers Brian and Eddie Holland. The three of them wrote "Heat Wave," "Baby, I Need Your Loving," and 10 of the 12 number one hits by the Supremes, including "Stop In the Name of Love" and my favorite Supremes song, "You Keep Me Hangin' On."

I was saddened to hear about the death of Bob Newhart, age 94. He was known for Newhart and his recent appearances on The Big Bang Theory, but for me he will always be The Bob Newhart Show. Priceless
