Fabulous Friday: Sister Rosetta Tharpe

I recently got a book from the Public Library, Rock-and-Roll Woman: The 50 Fiercest Female Rockers by Meredith Ochs. I'm going to devote the next 50 Fridays to the amazing women in this book, some of whom I don't know at all (like the band Fanny - - WOW).

I was thrilled to see Sister Rosetta Tharpe was first on the list. I've loved her for years, she is the bomb.
