Diva/Mensch pair for Sept 24, 2025

The 2017 Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album went to Carrie Fisher for her audio book The Princess Diarist. I read that book and enjoyed it and, seeing that she won the Grammy, got the CD set from the New York Public Library. What a treat to hear Fisher's wry, acerbic voice telling her own story.

Diva: the book - - she spills the tea on so many things and has such scathing observations, most of them about her clueless loveable young self.

Mensch: winning the Grammy posthumously. Total mensch move.
