Diva/mensch pair for July 3, 2024

My friends we have come to the end of this movie/Oscar theme! Woo hoo! I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have. I dug through my archives and saw that this series started on October 5, 2022 with a Gone With the Wind pairing for 1939. Yowza.

I'm centering today's post on one of my favorite movies from last year, Barbie. The Best Song winner was a lovely, tender, meaningful ballad by Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell, "What Was I Made For?" Another of the nominees was "I'm Just Ken," which was one of the highlights of the movie, so exuberant and hilarious.
