We're closing in on the big finish here, possums! This Oscars theme has been going on for over a year, we're now in our third year. I have no idea what theme to use when this is over. Of course I'm always open to suggestions.
The Best Supporting Actress winner for 2005 was Rachel Weisz for The Constant Gardener. I don't remember much from her performance apart from the fact that she was (at one point) naked and pregnant. There were two other nominees that year who were VERY memorable. Amy Adams gave a sit-up-and-take-notice performance in Junebug. And Catherine Keener played the ultimate mensch, Harper Lee, wingman to her childhood friend Truman Capote.
