What an unlikely trio. First, my favorite of the three, Nicholas Brendon, who was only 54. Am I already, at 58, the age where I’m reading the obits of people younger than me? I loved Brendon on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, really and truly one of the greatest TV shows of all time. He was goofy but still sweet and SO CUTE.
He shows up near the end of this clip and delivers one of my favorite lines of the whole series:
Robert Mueller, anyone? Died at 81. Am I alone thinking he was kind of sexy? This compilation shows him waiting patiently through the grandstanding monologues of certain members of the House Judiciary Committee only to deliver a withering, laconic reply:
Was Chuck Norris laconic or just incapable of expressing emotion? In either case, he died at the age of 86. I’m not familiar with his work but based on this clip I need to watch Lone Wolf McQuade ASAP. So much to love: the pipe organ, the Carradine, the pseudo argyle sweater, and the guy from Eating Raoul!
