CDA: Ruth Buzzi

My brother Howard alerted me to the death of Ruth Buzzi (age 88). She had a varied career but is best remembered for playing Gladys on Laugh-In and elsewhere. Here she is as Gladys on a Dean Martin Celebrity Roast of Angie Dickinson. Hilarious and adorable:

Sometimes I'm surprised by the things that move me to tears. I read Buzzi's NY Times obit and welled up when I read that she was a cheerleader in high school. I can totally see her as a cheerleader, I bet she was full of verve.
