My dear friend Scott came for a visit back in May of 2005 and we packed that week down to the last square INCH with cultural events, many of which had a gay flavor. A few highlights:

A performance by Les Paul

An interaction with Rip Taylor

*La Cage aux Folles* on Broadway

A reading by Charles Busch

A combo retrospective of Coco Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, at the Met Museum

A performance by Barbara Cook at the Cafe Carlyle

*Doubt* on Broadway

Lypsinka in *The Passion of the Crawford*

My account of the week is long, hilarious, and littered with pictures. Rather than reprint it here, I'm going to explain where it find it on my website:

divamensch.com -> Reviews -> Other genres -> The Gayest Week Ever, May 2005

Enjoy! And have a great weekend.
