Fabulous Friday: three queens

We're on the letter Q this week, so I'm giving you three queens. First, Queen performing "Killer Queen" on Top of the Pops:

Next, Helen Mirren as QE2 in *The Queen:* Love her twinset.

And last but certainly not least, the documentary *The Queen,* about the 1967 Miss All-America Camp Beauty Contest, held at Town Hall in NYC. The contest was organized by a true trailblazer, Mother Flawless Sabrina. I saw a screening of the movie at Town Hall in May 2018, which served as both a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the movie's release and a memorial to Sabrina, who had died the previous fall. It's a fascinating and delightful film and a priceless cultural document.
