Fabulous Friday: tap dancing

T is for tap, Tap, TAP! I'll continue with the Shirley Temple theme for the week and share this amazing clip of her and Bill "Bojangles" Robinson in *The Little Colonel.*

And one of the greatest dance numbers in the history of the movies, Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell doing "Begin the Beguine." The first half is divine, dreamy, romantic - - the second half is HOT TAPS, baby!

And one touching clip, Gregory Hines in a tribute to Sammy Davis, Jr. Davis surprised everyone (maybe even himself) by joining Hines onstage. Or am I just naive thinking that was a surprise?
