Fabulous Friday: *Summer of '42*

The winner of Best Original Score in 1971 was my beloved Michel Legrand for *Summer of '42.* I saw this movie when I was a teenager and liked it a lot but the trailer makes it look like an after school special.

I'll close with the great Jessye Norman singing it in her overly kittenish way. Bless her heart, rest her soul! And the added bonus of Legrand himself at the piano, such delicious playing. It's time to dress for fall...
