CDA: Carroll and Nichols

Two CDAs today. The great character actor Pat Carroll died at the age of 95. Her obits are all calling her the voice of Ursula the Sea Hag in *The Little Mermaid* but I prefer to remember her from her appearance on *The Mary Tyler Moore Show.* She comes on at around 8:00:

And Nichelle Nichols died at the age of 89. Of course she's best remembered for playing Lt. Uhura on *Star Trek* but have you seen her in *Truck Turner,* a blaxpoitation movie starring Isaac Hayes? I watched it on Christmas Day sometime in the late 80s, courtesy of my hilarious cousin Kent. Beware of the N word in this clip. Ho ho ho!
