Diva/Mensch pair for Feb 14, 2024

The Best Supporting Actor winner for 2011 was mensch Christopher Plummer in Beginners, a lovely, delicately shaded performance by a beloved older actor near the end of his career. Another nominee that year was diva Kenneth Branagh as uber diva Laurence Olivier in My Week With Marilyn. Olivier doesn't come off very well in that movie, which seems entirely fitting.
