Diva / Mensch pair for Feb 23, 2022

I'm closing out this theme with a song from the 60s and a more contemporary song, both of which look back to something from the 19th century. My heartfelt thanks to my brother Howard for partnering with me on this two-month divamensch theme!


I wanted to pair something with Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" so I did a Google search for songs inspired by *Alice in Wonderland* and found a droopy little number by Franz Ferdinand. "White Rabbit" is such an amazing song - - I love the Moorish contours of the melody. And Grace Slick, what a fabulous, distinctive voice.
