My mother alerted me to the death of film director Michael Apted, best known for the *7 Up* series of documentaries. I urge you to see these films if you haven't seen them already - - he filmed a group of British children at 7 and again at 14. And again at 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, and 63. It's astonishing to see how much some of them change and how some of them don't seem to change very much at all.
